IMPLANTATION, DENTAL IMPLANTATION
Artificial replacement of the tooth root by dental implantation which involves the insertion of a tooth replacement - crown, full bridge or removable denture - onto an implant fixed in the jaw. The implants are produced using special oral surgery techniques that do not irritate the natural tissues and ensure a good fit. At our clinic, you can choose between Alpha Bio implants, a cost-effective, comfortable solution or Nobel Biocare implants, a premium implant.
Tooth removal, tooth extraction
Tooth extraction is one of the most common oral surgery procedures but of course we always try to save the tooth if possible and only remove the tooth if it is justified. In some cases, however, tooth extraction may be performed if no other dental treatment works. The most common reasons include an inflamed tooth root, a tooth that is moving, excessive decay, or if orthodontic treatment requires to stop teeth crowding to keep your teeth straight.
WISDOM TEETH REMOVAL
Wisdom tooth problems are among the most common dental problems and therefore we often perform wisdom tooth extractions at our oral surgery. Wisdom teeth are the last to emerge and in most cases the largest teeth. If the wisdom teeth are healthy they are usually not a problem but as they are difficult to clean and prone to decay, in many cases oral surgery is recommended to remove them.
ROOT CANAL TREATMENT, ROOT END RESECTION
Root canal treatment is the last measure before tooth extraction to save a dead tooth. It is an intermediate solution used when the tooth root has died due to caries or an accident. If the tooth root becomes inflamed, it can not only cause painful symptoms but can also cause other diseases in the body so it is important to have a root treatment as soon as possible. Fortunately, today's painless and extremely fast oral procedures allows removing the tooth root and protecting the dead tooth with an aesthetic crown.
SINUS LIFT, BONE GRAFTING
Bone graft surgery is usually used to reattach a tooth that has moved and fallen out, or to create a bone bed for implant placement, or to strengthen the bone surrounding the implant. The oral surgery involves lifting the lower mucosa of the sinus cavity and filling the gap with bone grafting material. Swelling and pain may be experienced for a short time after the treatment, but after six months of healing the implant can be safely placed.
ORAL SURGERY TREATMENTS WITH THE UTMOST CARE
Oral surgery is only necessary as a last resort, but for certain symptoms it is essential. Whether it's a routine root treatment, tooth extraction, the placement of highly comfortable, long-lasting implants, or even the necessary sinus lifting and bone grafting, you can rely on the expertise of our dentists.
